Summer has ended the third quarter is over and I am ready to see how many dividends I have collected this month. The one thing we should all notice even though the market is down those dividends keep rolling in.

What a month. This marks the second straight month over $1,000. This is exciting. Dollar by dollar this was built and it is starting to really grow. The $1297.96 is the highest amount I’ve ever received. This was without HBI which paid last month.

This month was 15.1 percent higher than last September. This quarter is 38.8 percent higher than last year. Year over year is 28.64 percent higher. My portfolio value dropped by but my Net worth went up so all is good as those dividends came in and will keep coming in.

Total portfolio value $323,470.89
Forward annual dividend $11,396.67
Trailing 12 months of Dividends $10,937.05 Expected dividend as of 2021 $11,139.62
Net worth as of Sept $536,983.98
Sells
Bought ABBV and RILY. Those were my main buys this month.
Dividend raises MSFT, O, SBUX
Future goals
Future portfolio value of $400000.00
Forward annual dividends of $15,000.00
Future net worth $750,000
This month I went over $40,300.10 in lifetime dividends.
As I wrap this months report up I’m very pleased with everything. This shows that no matter what you can do the same as I have done and the earlier you start the better off you will be. Just constant buying good quality stocks that raise their value and raise their dividends.

  1. It’s always great to make a new record! And congrats on two straight months over $1k. We’re still working on getting one of the other months in the quarter to reach that level but we’re making progress. Slower than I’d like sometimes, but progress still.

  2. Terrific results, Doug! Record dividends, awesome 15% YoY growth, dividend raises… you’ve got it working.
Lots of stocks are contributing to your totals… I like the diversification.
Congrats on back-to-back $1K dividend months. I just did that for the first time this past June/July – it took a special dividend to do it.
