This is the best month it seems like to bring this MEME out always funny. As the winter has arrived . the stock market was down in DEC but as long as dividends are coming in it does not matter if the stock market is down, up, or sideways. Now it is time to see how much I brought in.
We once again fell just shy with $695.56 So close to $700.00 we did not hit it this year but next year we will in at least 2 month.
You can see the December buys here
As you can see i was paid 21 times by 19 companies. That comes out to $36.60 per company. CFFN paid its extra dividend in NOV instead of DEC which pushed last months up.
If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07. That would leave me with a nice $603.49 to put towards my bills. But i am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, we brought in $22.43 a day. This is a 50.48% increase over last November. Total for year now we have brought in $5275.56 which brings our total per day $15.79. This month continued to put last years total dividend in the rear view mirror. Total lifetime tracked dividends is $16,763.28. Definitely seeing the results as our final income for this year stands at $5,953. 12 dollars for this year. The 12 month rolling estimated dividend stands at $6,616.60. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay all my bills, but when i inherit the house i will have more so i want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of dividend was this month. You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.
How was your dividend haul? Did you do better than expected? Let me know in the comments below.
Yes the big double a buy and dividend hike on the same day i knew the hike was getting close but not sure when it would happen.
When my mom gave me her Morgan Stanley account, it came with $2,000 dollars in cash wich earns a paltry bit of interest. of course i missed the episode a few weeks ago where it dropped to $73. something. It may go up more it may drop more im not really trying to time the market but when i looked this morning and seen that XOM was $78.05 I had to pull that trigger.
A little about XOM.
Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is the largest of the vertically integrated oil majors, as well as the largest publicly-traded corporation in the world by revenue. It was created on November 30, 1999, by the merger of Exxon and Mobil. The company has several divisions and hundreds of affiliates, including Exxon Mobil, Exxon, Esso, and Mobil.
The firm generates the majority of its income from liquid and natural gas sales, with earnings of $19.7 billion in 2017. The geographical diversity of Exxon Mobil’s exploration and production (E&P) activities make it less vulnerable to the regional production uncertainties that plague the industry. The company is also an international leader in the downstream refining industry with over 5,000 owned/leased retail stations and 4.9 million barrels per day of refining capacity at the end of 2017.

Gotta love gifts right? well this one i sure do awhile back my mom started the process to gift me her stocks. 2 of them went through today. total account value of these are $13,547.84 total account value it includes 113 shares of Exxon Mobil and 48 shares of PPL. also included was 2,000.00 in cash. Its through Morgan Stanley. they have account fees and higher buy and sell fees but will keep the stocks in there and add money here and there till i get a good amount then make a big purchase and keep doing that. My plan is that each of my nieces and nephew will take over an account so they will all get a nice chunk of money. This will add $424.00 dollars a year to my dividends. Forward 12 month dividends sit at $4,535.47. Slowly but surely moving up. I have one more gift stock left it is through a different service so once i get online access i will update.
Have you had any gifts?
