September 2019 Dividend Review.

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividendsYes we are done with September and onto October. While it is still hot during the day it is cooling down at night and feels great in the morning.  That is what we did was we went around the monopoly board and collected money except this money is not fake. it is the real deal and the results i have show it. Of course there are a few disappointments but that was to be expected with some of the dividend cuts and selling. As the markets turn one day up and the next day down one thing that is basically constant is the dividends hitting my dividend account. One of the goals is to be able to live off the dividends. While i could right now combined with my military retirement and disability, i am not settling and going forward and going to see how much dividend income i can accumulate before I officially call it quits and start using the dividend income.

As you can see I was paid 21 times by 21 companies. That comes out to $41.47 per company. 6 new stock and 3 sells throughout the year for this month.  Buys and re investments have helped bring this up. $870.88 is my new record and this record will continue to grow and grow and grow.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 30 is $89.01.  That would  leave me with a nice $781.78 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in 29.02 a day or $1.20 an hour on a 24 hour day this is the second month getting over $1.00.  This is a 36.40% increase over last September. Total for year now I have brought in $5295.85 which brings our total per day $19.39.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $22,059. 85. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $7061.13 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay 3 of my bills with a little left over, but when I inherit the house I will have more so I want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $870.88 brought in this month and a total of $5295.85 I am 72.54  percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300.   I still expect to make my goal this year. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend rose from $7490.12 to $7600.12

I have been making some changes to my Portfolio,  to streamline it into a portfolio that is driven by dividend increases. The portfolio will be better in the long run because of this. The portfolio page has been updated here.

For those that like total return I am  gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

Since June 18 when i first moved my money  through September 30th, 2019 I have a 12.15%  S&p 500 TR is 12.98%  increase. Increase from Jan 1st -September 30th 19.18%  S&p 500 TR is 20.55%  for the month of August it is 4.44% to 1.87%  to the S&P 500 TR.

Dividend Cuts I suffered my second dividend cut this year when VOD took 40% off there dividend. It cuts it from based off 138 shares  $254.64 a year to $139.38 a loss of $106.26.

So between the Cuts the sell and the buys I am still heading into the last month and the beginning of the Second half I am in good health and still should be able to hit my goals

XOM Dividend hike

Image result for xomAnother hike came in today and i like it. one of the things that owners of stocks get is dividend raises and after time they all add up.

March 2019 Dividends.

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividends Marvelous March Madness dividends are in and they are good. as matter of fact they are so good i set a new record with them. That means some other months will be even better when i look at the my future dividends.

What my goal is is to build a passive income stream that pays all my bills and givves me enough left to have fun on. Right now i can pay most of my bills, I own half my house split with my mom so she pays most of the house bills but eventually i will be paying those. I want to jump ahead of the game and not have to worry if they are covered. I have my military retirement and VA disability which help out but if i just relied on that i would fall short when its my time to take over paying the house bills.

I have structured my dividends as a mix of income and future growth, so i have a good mix of stocks that are pleasently safe but as we have seen with GE and KHC and a few others companies can cut or even eliminate  their dividend at anytime. I dont own those but i have owned companies that have both cut and eliminated their dividend.  I dont believe in diversification just for diversification but to build a nice passive income stream.

As you can see this was a record month with total dividends at $699.49. I dont plan on it but most of the stocks i added to or bought till recently was not in the third quarter ending month. While i fell a little short and do i mean a little, but that might be to much maybe a smidgen short of $700 that was due to selling of stocks going back to last year of course i helped out other months UVE was sold and added to ATT and SJT and WRE were recently sold. I made up the  dividend almost in the Quarter ending month akready with a purchase of D last month. Ford the last 3 years has paid a supplemental dividend but this year did not and that is ok as  I would rather not rely on a one for long even though i have others and if another company pays me one i will not complain. I do believe this will be my last Quarter ending month under $700.00.

Slower  month for buying and 1 sell than the last few months which you can read about here .

A marvelous total of $699.49 What is not to like about this? You can compare last years results on the page and also see what percentage each dividend was. With this dividend reinvestment of PEG it now is my first stock of many hopefully that go over $800.00 so it has joined that club.

As you can see i was paid 20 times by 20 companies. That comes out to $34.97 per company. New companies D and DAL and R helped out with their first payment this month. The rest is from additional buys and some dividend reinvestment.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07.  That would  leave me with a nice $607.42 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in $22.56 a day.  This is a 2.4  percent increase over last March. Total for year now I have brought in $1655.23 which brings our total per day $18.39.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $18418.51. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $6,620.92 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay 2 of my bills, but when i inherit the house i will have more so i want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $699.49 brought in this month and a total of $1655.23 I am 22.67 percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300. we put a serous dent in it but i was hoping to be closer to 25 percent there is still lots of time and I am hoping by the end of June to be at 50 percent or higher we will see. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend is now at $6978.31.

For those that like total return im gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

Since June 18 when i first moved my money i through MAR 31 2019 i have a 6.65 percent S&p 500 TR is 6.51 percent increase. Increase from Jan 1st -Mar 31 13.33 percent S&p 500 TR is 13.65 percent for the month of March it is 3.1 percent to 1.94 percent to the S&P 500 TR

Dec 2018 Dividends

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividends This is the best month it seems like to bring this MEME out always funny. As the winter has arrived . the stock market was down in DEC but as long as dividends are coming in it does not matter if the stock market is down, up, or sideways. Now it is time to see how much I brought in.

We once again fell just shy with $695.56 So close to $700.00 we did not hit it this year but next year we will in at least 2 month.

You can see the December buys here

As you can see i was paid 21 times by 19 companies. That comes out to $36.60 per company. CFFN paid its extra dividend in NOV instead of DEC which pushed last months up.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07.  That would  leave me with a nice $603.49 to put towards my bills. But i am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, we brought in $22.43 a day.  This is a 50.48% increase over last November. Total for year now we have brought in $5275.56 which brings our total per day $15.79. This month continued to put last years total dividend in the rear view mirror. Total lifetime tracked dividends is $16,763.28. Definitely seeing the results as our final income for this year stands at $5,953. 12 dollars for this year. The 12 month rolling estimated dividend stands at $6,616.60. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay all my bills, but when i inherit the house i will have more so i want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

How was your dividend haul? Did you do better than expected? Let me know in the comments below.

2018 buy number 5 and dividend hike XOM

image Yes the big double a buy and dividend hike on the same day i knew  the hike was getting close but not sure when it would happen.

When my mom gave me her Morgan Stanley  account, it came with $2,000 dollars in  cash wich earns a paltry bit of interest. of course i missed the episode a few weeks ago where it dropped to $73. something. It may go up more it may drop more im not really trying to time the market but when i looked this morning and seen that XOM was $78.05 I had to pull that trigger.

A little about XOM.

Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is the largest of the vertically integrated oil majors, as well as the largest publicly-traded corporation in the world by revenue. It was created on November 30, 1999, by the merger of Exxon and Mobil. The company has several divisions and hundreds of affiliates, including Exxon Mobil, Exxon, Esso, and Mobil.

The firm generates the majority of its income from liquid and natural gas sales, with earnings of $19.7 billion in 2017. The geographical diversity of Exxon Mobil’s exploration and production (E&P) activities make it less vulnerable to the regional production uncertainties that plague the industry. The company is also an international leader in the downstream refining industry with over 5,000 owned/leased retail stations and 4.9 million barrels per day of refining capacity at the end of 2017.
