As you can see this month was a great month and it was the highest ever. Compared to last March this month was 24.9 percent higher. My current yearly dividends are 14.9 percent higher than the first quarter last year. Nothing to complain about except I want more money and I know the solution to that problem. Buy great stocks.

Delving into the stats I was paid 22 times by 21 companies. My portfolio is growing by leaps and bounds. This month it my portfolio went up by $17,400. That is just a little shy of what my military retirement brings in a year. My total portfolio value just fell shy of $300,000. So it will pass that real soon. The last portfolio update I did was with my Merrill Edge account but since then I added my non dividend stocks into my tracker. It took 7.5 months or so for my Merrill edge account to add $50,000 in value. My net worth crossed the half a million mark this month. I have updated to the next level I want to achieve. I love to update these as it shows I am moving forward.

Total portfolio value $296,405.78
Forward annual dividend $10,393.04

As I wrap this months report up I’m very pleased with everything. This shows that no matter what you can do the same as I have done and the earlier you start the better off you will be. Just constant buying good quality stocks that raise their value and raise their dividends.

Dec 2020 and Portfolio Review

Happy New Year. While we are marching into 2021 we are going to examine what we brought in this month and over the past year. While 2020 wasn’t a banner year for some it was a great year for others. Not focusing on the problems helps keep life in perspective. I am looking for a great 2021

We are going to start this section looking at our forward dividends getting to $10,000 would be a goal wether it happened this year or next well NRZ after cutting its dividend earlier in the year has given 3 raises the last one on Dec 17 put me over $10,000 dollars in forward dividends the next major milestone will be $15,000 but I am looking forward to getting to $11,000.

Total portfolio value has been doing good we are marching forward $300,000. Right now it stands at $269,960.82. This is a 2.37% increase from last month.

Quarterly net worth is done and figured out and wow what more could I ask for? The total came out to $469,714.13 which is a 10.95 percent increase over last quarter. Since I started tracking at the end of quarter 3 2016 my net worth has grown by 83 percent.

Now for what every came here to read about dividends. This month was a great month that saw us end the year right. And when I say right I mean right. I brought in $1239.20. The most every in a month. Also as far as quartet income it came in over $2500. Consistent buying brings results and this write up shows it.

Received dividend raises from Duk, WBA and KR. hopefully get some good raises once they start raising the dividend again in March bought quite a few companies in this group. All considering the YOY was 25.7 percent compared to the $839.59 I received last June. Hope your month was good

Dec 19 Dividend Review

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividends Do you? Because I sure do and I have a good report to give.  As we close 2019 its important to look back at what we accomplished what we didn’t accomplish and what we plan to accomplish.

I believe we had an excellent year as far as buys and got a lot bigger and better dividend payers that will grow the dividend good.

As far as our 2019 goals we we invested in quality stocks, we did not get as much dividends as far as dividend growth as we would have liked and we are waiting in anticipation to see if we hit our Bronze goal of $7300 in dividend for the year?

Well we finally did it to a tune of $1,085.56 first comma i have received also this month  I blew my Va compensation away which is $879.36 this is the first month i have had more dividends than my VA compensation. This month based on a 24 hour day i bought in $1.45 an hour not bad things keep looking up.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07.  That would  leave me with a nice $993.49 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in $35.01  a day.  This is a 56.06 percent increase over last December. Total for year now I have brought in $7487.93 which brings our total per day  to $20.51.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $24,251.21. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $8,170.44 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay all of my bills with a little left over, but when I inherit the house I will have more so I want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  The MRCC in the red is in my Roth and you can see that it accounts for 1.9 percent of my income for the month. You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $1,085.56 brought in this month and a total of $7487.93 I am over 100 percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300.   My 12 month out  Prospective dividend fell from $8185.67 to $8,170.44

I have been making some changes to my Portfolio,  to streamline it into a portfolio that is driven by dividend increases. The portfolio will be better in the long run because of this. The portfolio page has been updated here.

For those that like total return I am  gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

Since June 18 when i first moved my money  through DEC 31, 2019 I have a 23.73%  S&p 500 TR is 23.23%  increase. Increase from Jan 1st -DEC 31 31.48%  S&p 500 TR is 31.49%  for the month of December it is 3.31% to 3.02%  to the S&P 500 TR.

September 2019 Dividend Review.

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividendsYes we are done with September and onto October. While it is still hot during the day it is cooling down at night and feels great in the morning.  That is what we did was we went around the monopoly board and collected money except this money is not fake. it is the real deal and the results i have show it. Of course there are a few disappointments but that was to be expected with some of the dividend cuts and selling. As the markets turn one day up and the next day down one thing that is basically constant is the dividends hitting my dividend account. One of the goals is to be able to live off the dividends. While i could right now combined with my military retirement and disability, i am not settling and going forward and going to see how much dividend income i can accumulate before I officially call it quits and start using the dividend income.

As you can see I was paid 21 times by 21 companies. That comes out to $41.47 per company. 6 new stock and 3 sells throughout the year for this month.  Buys and re investments have helped bring this up. $870.88 is my new record and this record will continue to grow and grow and grow.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 30 is $89.01.  That would  leave me with a nice $781.78 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in 29.02 a day or $1.20 an hour on a 24 hour day this is the second month getting over $1.00.  This is a 36.40% increase over last September. Total for year now I have brought in $5295.85 which brings our total per day $19.39.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $22,059. 85. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $7061.13 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay 3 of my bills with a little left over, but when I inherit the house I will have more so I want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $870.88 brought in this month and a total of $5295.85 I am 72.54  percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300.   I still expect to make my goal this year. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend rose from $7490.12 to $7600.12

Since June 18 when i first moved my money  through September 30th, 2019 I have a 12.15%  S&p 500 TR is 12.98%  increase. Increase from Jan 1st -September 30th 19.18%  S&p 500 TR is 20.55%  for the month of August it is 4.44% to 1.87%  to the S&P 500 TR.

This quarter it will probably drop a little before surging back in Quarter 4, I still expect to make my goal this year. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend rose from $6822.34 to 6941.98

I will be making some changes to my Portfolio, not all at once but over time to streamline it into a portfolio that is driven by dividend increases. This will take time and will have some sells and hard decisions. but in the end i will have a better portfolio.
