Ahh the best time. Summer is creeping up on us though some places it feels like it is already here other places never had a winter. But the best part is that end of the month after hearing all thse dividends hit the account I can literally hear chaching chaching as all those coins hit my account. now we get to tally them all up.
Coming into May i had a streak of 5 months of over $300.00 a month would that continue or would we have to start over?
We did it 6 months of over $300.00 When i started blogging this and a lot of other things seemed so far away but daily new things are being done.
In anticipation of my brokerage switch i shut off dividend reinvestment. I was hoping it would have happened by now but has not. Hopefully soon though. The mutual fund that has the dividend reinvest is with my insurance company.
If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is 92.07. That leaves me with a nice $250.55 to put towards my bills. but alas we will collect what we did and reinvest and save it to drop into a stock once my transfer gets complete. We had a 62 percent increase over last year. This months $342.62 comes out to $11.05 a day I am earning this month. This brings my accumulated dividends for this year to $1760.86, this comes out daily to $13.93 a day average for the year. Which puts me on schedule for bringing in this year, $5038.42. My 12 month rolling prospective dividend cumulative is $6034.49 which comes out to $502 a month average.
How was your dividend haul? Did you do better than expected? Let me know in the comments below.
Yes another dividend raise. another small one but they all add up over time. And time is our best friend when we are young and start investing.
THOMASVILLE, Ga., May 24, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE:FLO), producer of Nature’s Own, Wonder, Dave’s Killer Bread, Tastykake and other bakery foods, today announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.18 per share, an increase of 5.9% over the same quarter last year. This dividend may be small but i love it because eventually small will turn into bigger and better. I dont know about you but I can never get enough raises. no matter how small or how big a dividend raise they get us closer to the whatever goal we have, wether that is retire early or cut down on work and work part time, or just extra money for bills or vacation.
Since i own 90.46 shares this adds .904 cents a quarter to my totals and $3.61 a year

As some have said its always hard to decision to sell but at least it makes it easier when they havent raised their dividend in 2 years and drop considerably in the summer due to hurricane season. That is one of the many reasons i decided to sell UVE it was a tough decision but with another company standing ready to buy i had to pull the trigger.
On May 15th 2018 the decision was made i waited for a littlew up tick in UVE price then pulled the trigger selling all 238.8732 which netted me $8,213.87 of cash. I had made over $4,000.00 dollars off this investment but with upcoming Hurricane season coming since it is a insurance company with its main business in florida now was a good time to sell and when it drops when a hurricane is bearing down on florida in the future i will pick some more up.
Now onto the buy I had my eyes on ATT for awhile so it was a no brainer that this would be the company i put my money in. On May 17th i bought 250 Shares of T for a cost of $8,055.70. This buy adds $125 a quarter to my dividends $500 a year to my dividends. this brings my total share count of T to 331.38. This brings my 12 month future dividends to $6028.74.
Have you sold any lately? have you bought anything lately?
Disclaimer: Long T.
Yes its the most favoritest time of the month where every reads and is waiting everyones dividend report and we surly do get a little sad when someone misses one. I do these to keep myself on track and to show everyone how far i have come. I enjoy doing these and putting them out every month.
As we like tracking we also like knowing when we have highs and lows. Selling could cause a low from a past year. this month was first time a non ending quarter month hit $400 so we are excited about that.
Showing is this months dividends scroll down and you can see the comparisons to last year. I had 13 companies pay me this month. I shut off dividend reinvestment half way through because of an impeding transfer that I am still waiting on. Hopefully everything gets transferred smoothly so i will take a small hit because of partial shares but as soon as i start buying again that should not be a problem to much.
This month represents a 60 percent increase over April of 2017 still getting some nice size increases but as the account grows those will slide down. the increase is due to buys and dividend reinvestment. Ironic that 420 was recieved and april has 420 in it lol.
Its also the 5th month in a row over $300.00. If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 30 is 89.01. That leaves me with a nice $331.15 to put towards my bills. but alas we will collect what we did not reinvest and save it to drop into a stock once my transfer gets complete. this months $420.25 comes out to $14.00 a day im earning this month. This brings my accumaleted dividends for this year to $1760.86, this comes out daily to $14.67 a day average for the year. Which puts me on schedule for bringing in this year, $5282.00. My 12 month rolling prospective dividend cumulative is $5659.58 which comes out to $440 a month average.

Well who doesn’t like a dividend hike? Have i ever told you i love them? this one is plenty good and a very nice one if i have to mention it twice.
CUPERTINO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Apple® today announced its Board has declared a cash dividend of $0.73 per share of Apple’s common stock payable on May 17, 2018 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 14, 2018. Yes that is a .10 cent a share or 15.9 percent increase.
Some wild predictions were made about the dividend increase. this is exactly what i wanted something that can be sustained around that for a few years. every raise i get gets me closer and closer to the ultimate goal. my first goal is to replace replace my VA disability award. once that happens we will instantly start working towards the next one.
Since i own 80.956 shares this adds 8.09 a quarter to my totals and 32.38 a year

Yes the big double a buy and dividend hike on the same day i knew the hike was getting close but not sure when it would happen.
When my mom gave me her Morgan Stanley account, it came with $2,000 dollars in cash wich earns a paltry bit of interest. of course i missed the episode a few weeks ago where it dropped to $73. something. It may go up more it may drop more im not really trying to time the market but when i looked this morning and seen that XOM was $78.05 I had to pull that trigger.
A little about XOM.
Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM) is the largest of the vertically integrated oil majors, as well as the largest publicly-traded corporation in the world by revenue. It was created on November 30, 1999, by the merger of Exxon and Mobil. The company has several divisions and hundreds of affiliates, including Exxon Mobil, Exxon, Esso, and Mobil.
The firm generates the majority of its income from liquid and natural gas sales, with earnings of $19.7 billion in 2017. The geographical diversity of Exxon Mobil’s exploration and production (E&P) activities make it less vulnerable to the regional production uncertainties that plague the industry. The company is also an international leader in the downstream refining industry with over 5,000 owned/leased retail stations and 4.9 million barrels per day of refining capacity at the end of 2017.

Love this meme it exactly describes this month i believe. Lots of dividends poured into the account this month. and it is nothing to cry about. With the final month of the quarter lets see how i did.
Scrolling down you can see last years comparisons. This month was helped by dividend reinvestment, buys, and the 3 stocks my mom gifted me. Over 25 shares reinvested.
This months So i this months $683.04 is a big record and pushes my total dividends recorded to 12,150.77. This was a 96.7 percent increase YOY. Its also the 4th month in a row over $300.00. If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is 92.07. that leaves me with a hefty 590.97 which pays every bill this month. with a some nice change left over but our goal isn’t to stop here and continue eventually i will take over the bills for the house and will need more for that time but i will bask in this moment that until then every bill this month is paid. When we divided $683.04 by 31 we get $22.03, just shy of $1.00 an hour. When we take the quarterly amount of $1340.61 and divide by 90 we get $14.89 an hour. Slowly moving up. through the end of the year i my prospective dividend amount is $4021.83. My twelve month prospective dividends after dividend reinvestment is $5,528.
How did you do this month? Let me know in the comments.
