October Dividend Income Report

monopoly_go

Another month has passed the weather has turned cooler the leaves for the most part in my yard are off the trees. Mr Market has been very volatile, which has given some good buying oppurtunities which you can see here and here. as you can see thats lots of buys in case you had missed the 2 posts. The buying will slow down as i build upp cash positions but will continue to make buys.

October while not as good as the last 2 months did provide me with my third straight month of over $400.00 a month and a total of 6 months so far has been spent above $400.00 a month now we need 3 months in a row at $500.00 which will happen sooner rather than later.

As you can see i was paid 15 times by 13 companies. That comes out to $33.06 per company.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07.  That would  leave me with a nice $337.77 to put towards my bills. But i am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, we brought in $13.86 a day.  This is a 16.62% increase over last October. Total for year now we have brought in $4782.13 which brings our total per day $15.73. This month continued to put last years total dividend in the rear view mirror. Total lifetime tracked dividends is $15,592.29. Definitely seeing the results as our estimated income for this year stands at $5,738. 4 dollars for this year. The 12 month rolling estimated dividend stands at $6,267.31. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

How was your dividend haul? Did you do better than expected? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. While October might be a “slower” month you still managed some great passive income. See that PPL paying you and I’m reminded about that name in my watch list forever. Still haven’t pulled the trigger yet but maybe if it dips below $30 I’ll nibble. Great month. Keep it up!

    1. PPL was a gift so its the gift that hopefully keeps on giving lol. Im hoping to get it transfered over to my merrill edge account that way I can add to it. hopefully soon. Thanks for stopping by and commenting

  2. Congrats on another solid month. Even though it was a slower month (it was for me too), you still netted a consistent $400+ in dividend income. All that’s left to do is finish the year strong! Looking forward to seeing the next report.

  3. As always, great results here D&H. I love the growth compared to last year. That is a lot of freaking coffee at Durango Joes haha Hopefully you have some left over to DRIP from that coffee pot into your dividend portfolio 🙂

  4. Some big bucks from MO this month. Great dividend total overall. Congrats on your $400 streak, and here’s to starting that $500 one. Your projection of ~$5,750 by year’s end sounds great. Keep up your efforts!
