May 24 Dividend and Portfolio Review

Another month down, they sure seem to fly by pretty quick. On May 17th my portfolio cracked $500,000.00 but did it close the month above? Did I get $1000.00 for the third straight month?

Just missed $1000.00 dollars. 2 in a row will have to do. Payments are starting to grow nicely. 3 payments over $100 and 3 knocking on the door brick by brick building this up. Too legit to quit. MPW pushed their payment into this month and Rily deferred their payment to next month. If both had payed this month I would have hit that $1000.00 dollars.

This months dividend $954.11 is a measly 5.37 percent higher than last June for the year the $5,760.76 i have brought in is a mere 11.2 percent higher than last year. Both fell short of my goal of 15 percent.

GOOG and and PEG both moved up a spot and ABBV dropped a spot. DHI and KR swapped. The top 10 value rose to 61.98 percent of my portfolio last month it was 60 some percent.

Total portfolio value grew by $18,802.19. I wish I could get more months to grow like this that would be awesome. But I will take whatever gains over the years I can get. Some months do drop but this was not a sell in May and go away year. My portfolio briefly for about a day or 2 settled above $500,000 but couldn’t end the month above that mark so I will see if June is that month.

At one time this was hard to fathom. Someone commented on an old post on a Facebook group and AAPL was my largest stock at around $12,000 dollars. You look at it now over $70,000 and I haven’t added that much to it. I put my top 10 from last month in the thread so if someone comments on it in a few years once again I can see the changes that are made. At one time I couldn’t fathom having one stock over $10,000 now I have 18 different stocks over $10,000 and over the next couple years that number will grow some more as I have some on the cusp of hitting that.

Dividends raises came from AAPL, OMF and LYB. Total of $63.98 majority of it came from LyB which raised their dividend by $.09 cents a share.

Total portfolio value $497,701.84.              Forward annual dividend $15,456.60.
Trailing 12 months of Dividends $15,016.13. Expected dividend as of 2024 $13,825.82.
Net worth as of March 24 $717,885.70.
Sells
Bought LYB, FLO, R, OMF, SBUX, TGT, NEE, RILY.          Dividend cuts none.                                   Dividend raises AAPL, OMF, LYB.
Future goals
Future portfolio value of $500,000.00
Forward annual dividends of $17,500.00
Future net worth $750,000. This month I went over $77,500.00 in lifetime dividends.
As I wrap this months report up I’m very pleased with everything. This shows that no matter what you can do the same as I have done and the earlier you start the better off you will be. Just constant buying good quality stocks that raise their value and raise their dividends
