Year over year total right now is 9.01 percent. Very happy considering last month was negative. This will be my last dividend for CFFN as I sold it off for OMF. Portfolio value is up 2.9 percent since the start of the year

I am moving forward and will soon have to update some of my future goals. Don’t know when but I imagine sometime this year at the way things are going. Even if I reach them next year it’s ok.

As I wrap this months report up I’m very pleased with everything. This shows that no matter what you can do the same as I have done and the earlier you start the better off you will be. Just constant buying good quality stocks that raise their value and raise their dividends.

August 2020 Dividend report

This report catches myself up on dividend reports it is great to get caught up. My portfolio I keep at Merrill Edge really caught fire this month surging past $200,000 Dollars this doesn’t include the stock I have at equinity or my dividend paying mutual fund It was at the end of 2017 my account was at sharebuilder and it went over $100,000. So. Little over 2.5 years later we have the next $100,000, how crazy is that? I doubt it doubles that quickly. I also track my dividend Stocks and it topped out recently at $229,000 these both are incredible numbers. My Goal is to add my non dividend stocks to my main tracker eventually so I can see it all combined.

T $203.24
GIS $28.91
APPL $68.01
ABBV $111.06
MAIN $27.25
O $11.37
CFFN $31.73
SBUX $21.32
USHYX $65.30
Total $568.19

As you can see another solid month. I sold out of GIS and added a little to T, ABBV, SBUX and APPL. In 10 years APPL could be my largest dividend payer by a long shot. The YOY from last years $487.03 is 16.6 percent higher. I hope your August was great

MAY 2020 Dividend Report

Once again May will be a simple report as I am catching up. I am up around where I was 2 years ago and climbing.

GIS $28.91
T $187.07
APPL $67.01
ABBV $99.14
CFFN $31.48
MAIN $25.69
NRZ $22.58
O $9.72
SBUX $16.81
USHYX $45.50
Total $533.91

Nothing to complain about this month except NRZ is a one time payment here and returned to its regular month. T ABBV and APPL were the big ones this month I have been adding to T, ABBV and SBUX and O. YoY increase was Over 12 percent compared to last years $473.49. Hope your dividends were good.

February 2020 Dividend Review

image

We are 2 months into the year and the market was marching and initially threw off any bad news that was heading its way then we hit the last week of February and The corona virus  finally started affecting the markets.  I think these things are overblown and the media makes more of it than they should. Some say why catch a falling knife other people I here say they wont invest till this is over. I will continue to buy a little here and a little there just like always and let the market work itself out.

This month saw me hit new high in my portfolio Value only to come crashing down but i am OK with that, because my money is buying  more stock and my dividends that are reinvested will do the same thing as long as the market is down.

My total for the month of is $509.98 If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 29 is $86.13.  That would  leave me with a nice $423.85 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in $17.58 a day.  This is a 1.97 percent decrease over last February. Total for year now I have brought in $1097.14 which drops our total per day  to $18.28.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $25348.35.  The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $6582.84 based on this month, through the end of 2020. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay most of my bills. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month. You can look at past dividends here.

With $509.98 brought in this month and a total of $1097.14 I am 11.42  percent of my Bronze level goal of $9600.00.   My 12 month out  Prospective dividend rose from $8,782.52 to $8,963.54.

I have been making some changes to my Portfolio,  to streamline it into a portfolio that is driven by dividend increases. The portfolio will be better in the long run because of this. The portfolio page has been updated here.

For those that like total return I am  gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

Since June 18 when i first moved my money  through Feb 29, 2020 I have a 11.18% S&p 500 TR is 13.04%  increase. Increase for Feb 1st-Feb 29th i have a -9.03% the S&P 500 is -8.23%. Increase from Jan 1st -Feb 29 -10.19%  S&p 500 TR is -8.27%

November 19 Dividend Review

imageLess than 1 month left in the year.  We have our sights set on finishing out the year strong and finishing this out.  I bought in $446.70 this month. On the monopoly board you go  around the board and collect money except this money is not fake. It is the real deal and the results I have show it. . As the markets turn one day up and the next day down one thing that is basically constant is the dividends hitting my dividend account. One of the goals is to be able to live off the dividends. While i could right now combined with my military retirement and disability, I am not settling and going forward and going to see how much dividend income I can accumulate before I officially call it quits and start using the dividend income. As you can see I was paid 10 times by 10 companies. That comes out to $44.67 per company.  Some dividend reinvestment and additions helped bring this up though it still droopped but that was expected

An addendum to last month I surpassed last years dividend with my last dividend recieved in OCT.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 30 is $89.10.  That would  leave me with a nice $357.6 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in 14.89 a day.  This is a 53.50% increase over last September. Total for year now I have brought in $6402.37 which brings our total per day down to $19.16.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $23165.65. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $6984.40 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay 3 of my bills with a little left over, but when I inherit the house I will have more so I want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $446.70 brought in this month and a total of $6402.37 I am 87.70 percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300.   I still expect to make my goal this year. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend rose from $7666.06 to $8185.67

Since June 18 when i first moved my money  through Nov 30, 2019 I have a 19.76%  S&p 500 TR is 19.62%  increase. Increase from Jan 1st -Nov 30 27.27%  S&p 500 TR is 27.63%  for the month of November it is 3.14% to 3.63%  to the S&P 500 TR.

My 12 month out  Prospective dividend dropped from $6930.04 to 6822.34

I will be making some changes to my Portfolio, not all at once but over time to streamline it into a portfolio that is driven by dividend increases. This will take time and will have some sells and hard decisions. but in the end i will have a better portfolio.

For those that like total return I am  gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

November 2018 Dividends

monopoly_go

December is upon us and the weather is getting colder but the dividends are heating up. yep those dividends keep coming no matter what the weather does or the stock market through all its up and downs the one constant thing is those dividends hitting my account. Lots of them hit my account this month.

November is a slower month but has been growing lately as I add and it is slowly coming up and as of this month is higher than OCT. The big question will it stay higher? we will see as the year pans out next year.

You can see the November buys here.

As you can see i was paid 12 times by 11 companies. That comes out to $43.22 per company. CFFN paid its extra dividend in NOV instead of DEC which pushed this months up. I wont hit $700.00 in a month this year but should sometime next year.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 30 is $89.01.  That would  leave me with a nice $386.42 to put towards my bills. But i am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, we brought in $15.84 a day.  This is a 98% increase over last November. Total for year now we have brought in $5275.56 which brings our total per day $15.79. This month continued to put last years total dividend in the rear view mirror. Total lifetime tracked dividends is $16,085.72. Definitely seeing the results as our estimated income for this year stands at $5,755. 15 dollars for this year. The 12 month rolling estimated dividend stands at $6,528.85. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

AAPL dividend hike

Well who doesn’t like a dividend hike? Have i ever told you i love them? this one is plenty good and a very nice one if i have to mention it twice.

CUPERTINO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Apple® today announced  its Board has declared a cash dividend of $0.73 per share of Apple’s common stock payable on May 17, 2018 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on May 14, 2018. Yes that is a .10 cent a share or 15.9 percent increase.

Some wild predictions were made about the dividend increase. this is exactly what i wanted something that can be sustained around that for a few years.  every raise i get gets me closer and closer to the ultimate goal. my first goal is to replace replace my VA disability award. once that happens we will instantly start working towards the next one.

Since i own 80.956 shares this adds 8.09 a quarter to my totals and 32.38 a year
