Total brought in so far this year is $5236.66 which is 23 percent higher than last year at this time. If I can keep the yearly above 25 percent I would be ecstatic.

My net worth I figure up quarterly and this last quarter it fell just shy of rising by about $30,000 dollars the main drivers of this are my portfolio and TSP which is now over $90,000. Since I started tracking this at the end of Q3 2016 my Net worth has grown 107 percent. Since last quarter it has grown 5.5 percent.

My overall portfolio has risen nicely the last quarter the value is over $316,000 dollars right now hitting that mark was great in early April. Top ten stocks have not changed much as they are the same all over $10,000. Except for a couple of position switches.

Dec 2020 and Portfolio Review

Happy New Year. While we are marching into 2021 we are going to examine what we brought in this month and over the past year. While 2020 wasn’t a banner year for some it was a great year for others. Not focusing on the problems helps keep life in perspective. I am looking for a great 2021

We are going to start this section looking at our forward dividends getting to $10,000 would be a goal wether it happened this year or next well NRZ after cutting its dividend earlier in the year has given 3 raises the last one on Dec 17 put me over $10,000 dollars in forward dividends the next major milestone will be $15,000 but I am looking forward to getting to $11,000.

Total portfolio value has been doing good we are marching forward $300,000. Right now it stands at $269,960.82. This is a 2.37% increase from last month.

Quarterly net worth is done and figured out and wow what more could I ask for? The total came out to $469,714.13 which is a 10.95 percent increase over last quarter. Since I started tracking at the end of quarter 3 2016 my net worth has grown by 83 percent.

Now for what every came here to read about dividends. This month was a great month that saw us end the year right. And when I say right I mean right. I brought in $1239.20. The most every in a month. Also as far as quartet income it came in over $2500. Consistent buying brings results and this write up shows it.

April 2019 Dividends

image Awesome April has come and gone and left us with some dividends to count And counting we will do. as we need to figure out how much dividends we got. The best thing about dividends are they come in no matter if the market is up or down.

Busy month for buying and 1 sell and a trim off of GOOG which you can read about  here  .

An Awesome total of $502.68, three straight months over $500.00 What is not to like about this? You can compare last years results on the page and also see what percentage each dividend was.

As you can see i was paid 16 times by 16 companies. That comes out to $31.41 per company.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 30 is $89.01.  That would  leave me with a nice $413.58 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in $16.75 a day.  This is a 19.61 percent increase over last April. Total for year now I have brought in $2157.91 which brings our total per day $17.98.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $18921.19. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $6,473.73 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay 3 of my bills, but when i inherit the house i will have more so i want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $502.68 brought in this month and a total of $2157.91 I am 29.56 percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300. I put a some dent in it but i was hoping to be closer to  35 percent there is still lots of time and I am hoping by the end of June to be at 50 percent or higher we will see. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend dropped from $6978.31 to 6930.04

I will be making some changes to my Portfolio, not all at once but over time to streamline it into a poertfolio that is driven by dividend increases. This will take time and will have some sells and hard decisions. but in the end i will have a better portfolio.

For those that like total return I am  gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

Since June 18 when i first moved my money i through April 30, 2019 i have a 9.52 percent S&p 500 TR is 10.83 percent increase. Increase from Jan 1st -April 30 15.66 percent S&p 500 TR is 17.12 percent for the month of March it is 2.69 percent to 4.05 percent to the S&P 500 TR

Dec 2018 Dividends

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividends This is the best month it seems like to bring this MEME out always funny. As the winter has arrived . the stock market was down in DEC but as long as dividends are coming in it does not matter if the stock market is down, up, or sideways. Now it is time to see how much I brought in.

We once again fell just shy with $695.56 So close to $700.00 we did not hit it this year but next year we will in at least 2 month.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07.  That would  leave me with a nice $603.49 to put towards my bills. But i am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, we brought in $22.43 a day.  This is a 50.48% increase over last November. Total for year now we have brought in $5275.56 which brings our total per day $15.79. This month continued to put last years total dividend in the rear view mirror. Total lifetime tracked dividends is $16,763.28. Definitely seeing the results as our final income for this year stands at $5,953. 12 dollars for this year. The 12 month rolling estimated dividend stands at $6,616.60. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. August Dividend Report

image My favorite time of the month is here when we start reading peoples dividend reports and see how great you guys did and compute mine so we can see how I did. This month is no exception September is here Pumpkin spice coffee is already at SBUX and is probably best thrown in the trash after you order it but none the less another month is in the books.

August was the first full month that my sharebuilder account had been transferred over to Merrill Edge. So now while its hard to say its now a  Merrill Edge account.

Along with my bigger purchase of KDP earlier in the month which I wrote about I alo purchased a smaller amount of VOD on August 20th for 5 shares with a price of $22.97 for a total of $114.85, commission free. This buy adds $8.75 to my forward dividends. Small buys count  also and I want every dollar to count so we are. smaller buys we will  describe here unless i make a few of them throughout a week.

June 18 dividend report.

OOO wait wrong month for that but i did have to check my list twice and in a minute you will know why. This month was so close but no cigar. still a brutalizing record which really helps.

Just a quick recap of some things pertaining to my account. I finally got a partial transfer of my account into Merrill edge one June 26th. Took long enough but im glad its started. i will write more on this later as lots more info on the transfer.

May 18 dividend report

monopoly_go

Ahh the best time. Summer is creeping up on us though some places it feels like it is already here other places never had a winter. But the best part is that end of the month after hearing all thse dividends hit the account I can literally hear chaching chaching as all those coins hit my account. now we get to tally them all up.

Coming into May i had a streak of 5 months of over $300.00 a month would that continue or would we have to start over?

We did it 6 months of over $300.00 When i started blogging this and a lot of other things seemed so far away but daily new things are being done.

In anticipation of my brokerage switch i shut off dividend reinvestment. I was hoping it would have happened by now but has not.  Hopefully soon though. The mutual fund that has the dividend reinvest is with my insurance company.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is 92.07. That leaves me with a nice $250.55 to put towards my bills. but alas we will collect what we did and reinvest and save it to drop into a stock once my transfer gets complete. We had a 62 percent increase over last year. This months $342.62 comes out to $11.05 a day I am earning this month.   This brings my accumulated dividends for this year to $1760.86, this comes out daily to $13.93 a day average for the year. Which puts me on schedule for bringing in this year, $5038.42. My 12 month rolling prospective dividend cumulative is $6034.49 which comes out to $502 a month average.
