April 18 Dividend Report

monopoly_go

Yes its the most favoritest time of the month where every reads and is waiting everyones dividend report and we surly do get a little sad when someone misses one. I do these to keep myself on track and to show everyone how far i have come. I enjoy doing these and putting them out every month.

As we like tracking we also like knowing when we have highs and lows. Selling could cause a low from a past year. this month was  first time a non ending quarter month hit $400 so we are excited about that.

Showing is this months dividends scroll down and you can see the comparisons to last year.   I had 13 companies pay me this month. I shut off dividend reinvestment half way through because of an impeding transfer that I am still waiting on. Hopefully everything gets transferred smoothly so i will take a small hit because of partial  shares but as soon as i start buying again that should not be a problem to much.

This month represents a 60 percent increase over April of 2017 still getting some nice size increases but as the account grows those will slide down. the increase is due to buys and dividend reinvestment. Ironic that 420 was recieved and april has 420 in it lol.

Its also the 5th month in a row over $300.00.  If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 30 is 89.01. That leaves me with a nice $331.15 to put towards my bills. but alas we will collect what we did not reinvest and save it to drop into a stock once my transfer gets complete. this months $420.25 comes out to $14.00 a day im earning this month.   This brings my accumaleted dividends for this year to $1760.86, this comes out daily to $14.67 a day average for the year. Which puts me on schedule for bringing in this year, $5282.00. My 12 month rolling prospective dividend cumulative is $5659.58 which comes out to $440 a month average.

How was your dividend haul? did you do better than expected? Let me know in the comments below.

  1. Congrats on a solid month and solid double-digit increase from last year. Getting over $400 for the first time is huge, and I like the fact that you’re consistently getting over $300. Hopefully I’ll be able to get to your level of success one day.

  2. Outstanding work, d&h! I love the streak of $300+ months. Congrats on cracking $400 for a non quarter-ending month as well. Everything in the portfolio appears to be working well for you. Your big increases from MO and NRZ really stand out. How does it feel to get $100 dividend payments from two companies? Awesome, I bet. I don’t believe I’ve done that yet. Congrats!

    1. Thanks that is my goal is to get companies to $100 a quarter then i can add to them as see fit after that of course with reits i most likely will. I am now up to 5 stocks and 1 mutual fund that pay $100.00 a quarter so hopefully 1 or 2 a year adding to that while bringing others up will be great. Thanks for stopping by.
