2 Dividend Raises This Week.

image I had 2 dividend raises this week. The one way to ensure your dividends keep growing long after you stop adding is with dividend raises of course the plan is to keep adding so this grows and grows and grows.

Realty Income Corporation O recently announced its 103rd common stock monthly dividend hike since the company’s NYSE listing in 1994. The company will now pay 22.70 cents per share compared with the 22.65 cents paid earlier.

The increased dividend will be paid on Oct 15 to shareholders on record as of Oct 1, 2019. The latest dividend rate marks an annualized amount of $2.724 per share versus the prior rate of $2.718 per share. Based on the company’s share price of $75.77 on Sep 17, it results in a dividend yield of around 3.6%.

Notably, solid dividend payouts are the biggest enticement for REIT investors and Realty Income remains committed to boosting shareholders’ wealth. The company enjoys a trademark of the phrase “The Monthly Dividend Company”. Read here

Theses increases are small but steady and you can slowly see the difference over time. since I own 38.47 shares of O this comes out to an increase of  .23 Cents a year, not a lot but if you add them all together it sure does add up.

The second company was MSFT and it was another nice raise.

REDMOND, Wash.Sept. 18, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Microsoft Corp. on Wednesday announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.51 per share, reflecting a 5 cent or 11% increase over the previous quarter’s dividend. The dividend is payable Dec. 12, 2019, to shareholders of record on Nov. 21, 2019. The ex-dividend date will be Nov. 20, 2019. Read here.

Since i own 60.65 shares this will add $12.13 to my yearly dividends

  1. It’s been a busy 2nd half of September for me too with O and MSFT and this morning MCD. I still expect at least one more increase to be announced this month too. These days are what we all love as DGI. Getting a pay raise without doing anything!
