2 Dividend Raises This Week.

image I had 2 dividend raises this week. The one way to ensure your dividends keep growing long after you stop adding is with dividend raises of course the plan is to keep adding so this grows and grows and grows.

Realty Income Corporation O recently announced its 103rd common stock monthly dividend hike since the company’s NYSE listing in 1994. The company will now pay 22.70 cents per share compared with the 22.65 cents paid earlier.

Theses increases are small but steady and you can slowly see the difference over time. since I own 38.47 shares of O this comes out to an increase of  .23 Cents a year, not a lot but if you add them all together it sure does add up.

The second company was MSFT and it was another nice raise.

Altria Dividend Raise.

Image result for altria logo RICHMOND, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Altria Group, Inc. (Altria) (NYSE:MO) today announced that its Board of Directors (Board) voted to increase Altria’s regular quarterly dividend for the 54th time in the past 50 years. The Board approved a dividend increase to $0.84 per common share versus the previous rate of $0.80 per common share. The quarterly dividend is payable on October 10, 2019, to shareholders of record as of September 16, 2019. The ex-dividend date is September 13, 2019. Here

I was expecting a lower raise so this is a nice surprise. Since i own 197.4781 shares this dividend increase adds $31.59 a year to my dividends. This dividend raise pushes me over the $200.00 in raises for the second straight year but it looks like i will fall short of reaching my goal i set for this year of $270.00 but i can set a new goal next year and hope i beat it. I will have a few small dividend increases left then next years start.

I love dividend raises 26 raises by 22 companies so far. This dividend is 1 cent a share increase per quarter.  This raise will bring in $1.60 a tear since i own 40 shares. Every raise gets me closer to the end goal and that is to have my bills all paid for by dividends. This is my first raise since buying MPW.

3 Dividend Raises

Image result for walgreens logo  This was the first increase, its my first from Wlagreens also.

Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (Nasdaq:WBA) today announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 45.75 cents per share, an increase of 4 percent. The increased dividend is payable September 12, 2019 to stockholders of record as of August 20, 2019, and raises the annual rate from $1.76 per share to $1.83 per share. This marks the 44th consecutive year that Walgreens Boots Alliance and its predecessor company, Walgreen Co., have raised the dividend.

Since i own 24 shares of WBA this will add $1.68 a year. 4 percent is a decent raise. It beats inflation so that is a very good thing.

Image result for ryder logo The second dividend increase was from R and it was also my first dividend from them.

The Board of Directors of Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE:R), a leader in commercial fleet managementdedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions, today July 11, 2019 declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.56 per share of common stock, to be paid on September 20, 2019, to shareholders of record on August 19, 2019. This dividend reflects an increase of $0.02 from the $0.54 cash dividend that Ryder had been paying since July 2018.

This is Ryder’s 172nd consecutive quarterly cash dividend – marking more than 43 years of uninterrupted dividend payments. this increase is 3.7 percent increase.

Since i own 24 shares of R this will add $3.12 a year. 3.7 percent is a raise. It beats inflation so that is a very good thing.

Related image The third dividend was Delta and its also my first dividend raise from them. The Board of Directors today July 11, 2019 declared a quarterly dividend of $0.4025 per share, an increase of 15% over previous levels. This marks the sixth consecutive increase in Delta’s dividend since it was established in 2013.  The September quarter dividend will be payable to shareholders of record as of the close of business on July 25, 2019, to be paid on August 15, 2019.

Since i own 26 shares of DAL this will add $5.46 a year. 15 percent is a kick butt raise. It beats inflation by a long shot, so that is a very good thing.

I am still well short of my goal of $270 dollars in dividend raises this year but am ahead of last year by a few dollars at this point. I have added to other positions which will position me nicely for some hopefully good dividend raises next year.

Every raise i gets puts me closer to the goal of having everything paid for by dividends, when this happens i will be financially free

Dividend Increase KR and BAC

image Yesterday i received 2 dividend increases. first one was from KR and the second one from BAC. KR is a newer position and BAC i held through the rotten years.

The Kroger Co. Logo (PRNewsFoto/The Kroger Co.) (PRNewsFoto/The Kroger Co.) The Kroger Co.’s (KR) Board of Directors today announced its Board approved a dividend increase from 56 cents to 64 cents per year. The next quarterly dividend of 16 cents will be paid on September 1, 2019 to shareholders of record as of close of business on August 15, 2019.

Kroger’s quarterly dividend has grown at a double-digit compound annual growth rate since it was reinstated in 2006. The company continues to expect, subject to board approval, an increasing dividend over time.

“Kroger’s 14 percent dividend increase underscores our Board of Director’s confidence in the momentum we are building in the second year of Restock Kroger and our ability to deliver strong free cash flow,” said Rodney McMullen, Kroger’s chairman and CEO. “This marks our 13th consecutive year of dividend increases. We are committed to creating shareholder value and achieving our long-term vision to serve America through food inspiration and uplift.”

This is the first dividend i have recieved from KR. Hopefully many more i will get.

Since i own 86 shares of KR and i bought 6  shortly after owning which gave me more money in the raise. These 86 shares will net me an extra $6.88 a year for doing nothing except buying their stock.

The Board of Directors of BAC approved plans for the company to return as much as $37 billion to common stockholders over the next four quarters through an increased quarterly common stock dividend and common stock repurchases, based on the company’s current number of outstanding shares and share price. The company plans to increase by 20 percent its quarterly common stock dividend, to $0.18 per share, beginning in the third quarter of 2019. It has been authorized to repurchase approximately $30.9 billion in common stock from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. The buybacks would include approximately $0.9 billion in repurchases to offset shares awarded under equity-based compensation plans during the same period.

Since i own 262 shares of BAC this will add $31.44 a year which almost makes up for holding it during the rotten years.

The 2 dividends combined gives me $38.32 a year which edges me closer to being able to retire and live off my dividends.

O Dividend Increase

realty-income-logo1 Another dividend increase from the monthly dividend company.

SAN DIEGO, June 11, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Realty Income Corporation (Realty Income, NYSE:O), The Monthly Dividend Company®, today announced its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company’s common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.2265 per share from $0.226 per share. The dividend is payable on July 15, 2019 to shareholders of record as of July 1, 2019. This is the 102nd dividend increase since Realty Income’s listing on the NYSE in 1994. The ex-dividend date for July’s dividend is June 28, 2019. The new monthly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.718 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $2.712 per share.

The great thing is that while the increases are small they raise them once a quarter. So these increases add up after awhile.

Every dividend raise i gets puts me one step closer to what i want every thing paid for and few extra dollars all from dividends. the fastest way to get this is through dividend raises.

Since i own 38 shares of O I will get  $.228  a year. A good raise that someday  will turn into something bigger.

So what does this mean for me? It means more money in my pocket or to be used to buy another stock. Who does not like more money.
