Total Portfolio Value Update

Today it happened. I went over $300,000 total portfolio value. This is the first time tracking the total portfolio, so we will see how long it takes to hit the next $100,000 and if I end the month over I’ll update the monthly review. But even just ending a day like this is a great feeling. My portfolio is moving up.

August Dividend Report

image My favorite time of the month is here when we start reading peoples dividend reports and see how great you guys did and compute mine so we can see how I did. This month is no exception September is here Pumpkin spice coffee is already at SBUX and is probably best thrown in the trash after you order it but none the less another month is in the books.

August was the first full month that my sharebuilder account had been transferred over to Merrill Edge. So now while its hard to say its now a  Merrill Edge account.

Along with my bigger purchase of KDP earlier in the month which I wrote about I alo purchased a smaller amount of VOD on August 20th for 5 shares with a price of $22.97 for a total of $114.85, commission free. This buy adds $8.75 to my forward dividends. Small buys count  also and I want every dollar to count so we are. smaller buys we will  describe here unless i make a few of them throughout a week.

July 18 Dividend report

image As we march into August and the days remain hot. we know one thing remains constant. the constant is that of dividends hitting our account. Wether the days are hot the days are cold as they will be in a short time, wether the market is up or the market is down, we know that dividends will always be constant.

This month was no exception but it was good non the less as we keep marching on and on. 33.2 percent

This month you will have to scoll to see the chart.

As you can see i brought in $366.03 from 11 different companies. If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is 92.07. That leaves me with a nice $273.96 to put towards my bills with 31 days in July we brought in $10.83 a day. Total for year now we have brought in $3168.69 which brings our total per day $14.94. total lifetime tracked dividends is $13,978. definatly seeing the results as our estimated income for this year stands at $5432 Dollars for this year. the 12 month rolling estimated dividend stands at $6154.45. you can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously.

How was your dividend haul? Did you do better than expected? Let me know in the comments below.

June 18 dividend report.

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividends We are  cruising through the year and just hit the 7th month of the year. I looked at my list checked it twice to see who was naughty or nice? OOO wait wrong month for that but i did have to check my list twice and in a minute you will know why. This month was so close but no cigar. still a brutalizing record which really helps.

Just a quick recap of some things pertaining to my account. I finally got a partial transfer of my account into Merrill edge one June 26th. Took long enough but im glad its started. i will write more on this later as lots more info on the transfer.

March 18 Dividend report

yall-got-any-more-of-them-dividends

Love this meme it exactly describes this month i believe. Lots of dividends poured into the account this month. and it is nothing to cry about. With the final month of the quarter lets see how i did.

Scrolling down you can see  last years comparisons. This month was helped by dividend reinvestment, buys, and the 3 stocks my mom gifted me. Over 25 shares reinvested.

This months So i this months $683.04 is a big record  and pushes my total dividends recorded to 12,150.77. This was a 96.7 percent increase YOY. Its also the 4th month in a row over $300.00.  If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is 92.07. that leaves me with a hefty 590.97 which pays every bill this month. with a some nice change left  over but our goal isn’t to stop here and continue eventually i will take over the bills for the house and will need more for that time but i will bask in this moment that until then every bill this month is paid. When we divided $683.04 by 31 we get $22.03, just shy of $1.00 an hour. When we take the quarterly amount of $1340.61 and divide by 90 we get $14.89 an hour. Slowly moving up.  through the end of the year i my prospective dividend amount is $4021.83. My twelve month prospective dividends after dividend reinvestment is $5,528.

How did you do this month? Let me know in the comments.
