Combine these buys with dividend reinvestment and raises and wow that is starting to add up after awhile. The dividend portfolio page has been updated with these buys here.

August 2019 Dividend Review

monopoly_goYes we are done with August and onto September. While it is still hot during the day it is cooling down at night and feels great in the morning.  That is what we did was we went around the monopoly board and collected money except this money is not fake. it is the real deal and the results i have show it. of course there are a few disappointments but that was to be expected with some of the dividend cuts and selling. As the markets turn one day up and the next day down one thing that is basically constant is the dividends hitting my dividend account.

As you can see I was paid 11 times by 11 companies. That comes out to $44.27 per company. 2 new stocks.  Buys and re investments have helped make up the difference. $487.03 less than last year but due to cuts and sells it is expected to be less for awhile but this month will continue to grow. OHI  with its tenant problems was risky so i sold it off and the dividend was cut on AGNC and VOD so it was time to dump those 2 also it looks like we will come out good as those were pushed into other months. This will be the last dividend i receive for VOD

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07.  That would  leave me with a nice $394.96 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in 15.71 a day.  This is a -10.66% decrease over last August. Total for year now I have brought in $4424.97 which brings our total per day $18.20.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $21,188.25. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $6637.45 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay 3 of my bills with a little left over, but when I inherit the house I will have more so I want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $487.03 brought in this month and a total of $4424.97 I am 60.61  percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300.  This quarter it will probably drop a little before surging back in Quarter 4, I still expect to make my goal this year. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend rose from $7262.14 to $7490.12

I have been making some changes to my Portfolio,  to streamline it into a portfolio that is driven by dividend increases. The portfolio will be better in the long run because of this.

For those that like total return I am  gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

Since June 18 when i first moved my money  through August 31st, 2019 i have a 7.38%  S&p 500 TR is 10.91%  increase. Increase from Jan 1st -August 31st 14.11%  S&p 500 TR is 18.34%  for the month of August it is -2.21% to -1.58%  to the S&P 500 TR.

3 Dividend Raises

Image result for walgreens logo  This was the first increase, its my first from Wlagreens also.

Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc. (Nasdaq:WBA) today announced that its board of directors has declared a quarterly dividend of 45.75 cents per share, an increase of 4 percent. The increased dividend is payable September 12, 2019 to stockholders of record as of August 20, 2019, and raises the annual rate from $1.76 per share to $1.83 per share. This marks the 44th consecutive year that Walgreens Boots Alliance and its predecessor company, Walgreen Co., have raised the dividend.

Since i own 24 shares of WBA this will add $1.68 a year. 4 percent is a decent raise. It beats inflation so that is a very good thing.

Image result for ryder logo The second dividend increase was from R and it was also my first dividend from them.

The Board of Directors of Ryder System, Inc. (NYSE:R), a leader in commercial fleet managementdedicated transportation, and supply chain solutions, today July 11, 2019 declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.56 per share of common stock, to be paid on September 20, 2019, to shareholders of record on August 19, 2019. This dividend reflects an increase of $0.02 from the $0.54 cash dividend that Ryder had been paying since July 2018.

This is Ryder’s 172nd consecutive quarterly cash dividend – marking more than 43 years of uninterrupted dividend payments. this increase is 3.7 percent increase.

Since i own 24 shares of R this will add $3.12 a year. 3.7 percent is a raise. It beats inflation so that is a very good thing.

Related image The third dividend was Delta and its also my first dividend raise from them. The Board of Directors today July 11, 2019 declared a quarterly dividend of $0.4025 per share, an increase of 15% over previous levels. This marks the sixth consecutive increase in Delta’s dividend since it was established in 2013.  The September quarter dividend will be payable to shareholders of record as of the close of business on July 25, 2019, to be paid on August 15, 2019.

Since i own 26 shares of DAL this will add $5.46 a year. 15 percent is a kick butt raise. It beats inflation by a long shot, so that is a very good thing.

I am still well short of my goal of $270 dollars in dividend raises this year but am ahead of last year by a few dollars at this point. I have added to other positions which will position me nicely for some hopefully good dividend raises next year.

Every raise i gets puts me closer to the goal of having everything paid for by dividends, when this happens i will be financially free

Magnificent May Dividend Report

monopoly_go

This my favorite time of the month not only publishing my Dividend report but reading yours also as it takes 2 to make this work and we are all doing something to make a difference in our lives no matter what the goal is.

As we enter the last month of the first half of 2019 yes you read that right we are almost half way through the year already. I want to finish out the year strong and get my portfolio to where it can better withstand A downturn of prolong time so i do not have to sell anything. I have a few more stocks to rearrange do not know when that will happen but i want focus on getting more dividends and dividend growth.

Busy month for buying and selling which you can read about here.

An magnificent total of $473.19, three straight months over $500.00 ended though.  You can compare last years results on the page and also see what percentage each dividend was. this month will be the last month it will be this high but other months will get higher and we hope make up the difference.

As you can see i was paid 12 times by 12 companies. That comes out to $39.45 per company. 3 new stocks replaced 3 that were sold with some good money coming from ABBV. Then other buys and re investments have helped make up the difference.

If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is $92.07.  That would  leave me with a nice $381.42 to put towards my bills.   I am going to eventually put it all back in the stock market, I brought in $15.27 a day.  This is a 38.10 percent increase over last May. Total for year now I have brought in $2631.40 which brings our total per day $17.42.  Total lifetime tracked dividends is $19394.68. Definitely seeing the results each month. The 12 month estimated dividend stands at $6,315.36 based on this month, through the end of 2019. You can see the results after time a mix of dividend reinvestment and adding on my own has helped this tremendously. This month would pay 3 of my bills, but when i inherit the house i will have more so i want to be able to cover most of those also. Looking at the chart you can see what percentage of  dividend was from each company this month.  You can look at the past dividends page which has now been updated Past Dividends.

With $473.19 brought in this month and a total of $2631.40 I am 36.04 percent of my Bronze level goal of $7300. I put  some dent in it but i was hoping to be closer to  45 percent there is still lots of time and I am hoping by the end of June to be at 47-50 percent. My 12 month out  Prospective dividend dropped from $6930.04 to 6822.34

I will be making some changes to my Portfolio, not all at once but over time to streamline it into a portfolio that is driven by dividend increases. This will take time and will have some sells and hard decisions. but in the end i will have a better portfolio.

For those that like total return I am  gonna start including it in here, I myself just care about the dividends but some like the total return

Since June 18 when i first moved my money i through April 30, 2019 i have a 1.88%  S&p 500 TR is 3.78%  increase. Increase from Jan 1st -April 30 8.27%  S&p 500 TR is 10.73%  for the month of May it is -6.97% to -6.35%  to the S&P 500 TR
