Ok we have hit the end of FEB that means it is time to tally up the dividends and see where we stand wether to cry or smile. hopefully we have enough to pay a bill.
This is the time that ALL of us who collect dividends look forward to. wether you are just starting out or been doing it for 30 years this is where we see what our money has done for us.

On Tuesday the 29th I dipped my toes into a small amount of NRZ. It was my second buy of it as it is a cash cow that just recently raised its dividend. This stock has been a great performer so far for me of course as always past performance does not equal future performance. It is also one of my favorite reits.

A company I purchased in 2011 decided last year to suspend its dividend that means no dividend unless they reinstate it. no telling if they will at some point but i held on to it only to make a profit and it finally did stay positive long enough for me to make about a 20.00 dollar profit.

Tuesday Feb 21 the board of directors of Walmart decided to give me a raise. The Board of Directors of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (WMT) approved an annual cash dividend for fiscal year 2018 of $2.04 per share, an increase of 2 percent from the $2.00 per share paid for the last fiscal year. The fiscal year 2018 annual dividend of $2.04 per share will be paid in four quarterly installments of $0.51 per share

Today the board of directors of KO decided to send me money. whnever a company does that I love it as it increases my income. this is exactly the kind of raise we want while it is smalller than past raises it is still an inflation beater.
