Feb 22 Dividend and Portfolio Review

February has ended that means we are 2/12 of the way done with the year. Bring a shorter month means it ended faster and the report can get out sooner.

Ticker Dividend
T $214.05
APPL $76.30
ABBV $256.59
MAIN $32.09
O $13.24
OMF $152.95
USHYX $71.00
DHI $15.98
SBUX $50.96
Total dividend $883.16

As you can see this was a great month. T won’t be on the next time as I sold it with no regrets. 9 dividend payouts ABBV is a monster and should continue to grow at a nice pace. This will be my last payout from O till I rebuy it in my Roth. I used the proceeds to buy a share of Goog. With them announcing a 20-1 split I’d like to up my amount a bit so some plans have changed. I am still a dividend growth invested and will continue to be.

This was a good month for dividend raises as I received 5 of them the bad side is 1 cut to PPL.

AAPL, PEG, GOOG, MSFT, USHYX, MO, XOM, BAC, CVX, and KR are my top 10 stocks all over 10k in each one. A few years ago my goal was to just get stocks to 10K now with that obliterated I keep adding. 11 stocks over 10K and another 1 knocking on the door. Most of the top 10 is down a little which allows me to add and collect more dividends. Even though my portfolio value dropped again I know it will rise again and higher than my previously highest close. Time is on my side.

Total portfolio value $364,535.48
Forward annual dividend $11,713.38
Trailing 12 months of Dividends $11,888.76 Expected dividend as of 2022 $9504.12
Net worth as of DEC 21 $583,000.49
Sells O
Bought NEE, WBA, GOOG, AAPL, BAC, CHRYY and XOM. Those were my main buys this month.
Dividend raises OMF, PEG, KO, MPW, and NEE. Cuts PPL.
Future goals
Future portfolio value of $400000.00
Forward annual dividends of $15,000.00
Future net worth $750,000
This month I went over $46,400.00 in lifetime dividends.
As I wrap this months report up I’m very pleased with everything. This shows that no matter what you can do the same as I have done and the earlier you start the better off you will be. Just constant buying good quality stocks that raise their value and raise their dividends.

  1. Solid month of gains. T has been the bugger for many DGI portfolios. Oh well… Not my first cut and I’m sure not my last. Maybe add more to my ABBV, SBUX to make up lost T divvy. Still thinking about what to do regarding the T spin off. Thanks for sharing.
