Dividend increase Main

Main Street Capital Corporation  Gotta love dividend raises as i got another one. All these raises added together sure add up whether they are big or small I love them all.

HOUSTON, Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Main Street Capital Corporation (NYSE: MAIN) (“Main Street”) is pleased to announce that its Board of Directors declared regular monthly cash dividends of $0.195 per share for each of October, November and December 2018.  These monthly dividends, which will be payable pursuant to the table below, total $0.585 per share for the fourth quarter of 2018 and represent a 2.6% increase from both the regular monthly dividends paid for the fourth quarter of 2017 and the regular monthly dividends declared for the third quarter of 2018.  Since its October 2007 initial public offering, Main Street has periodically increased the amount of its regular monthly dividends paid per share, and has never reduced its regular monthly dividend amount per share.  Including all dividends declared to date, Main Street will have paid $23.96 per share in cumulative cash dividends since its October 2007 initial public offering at $15.00 per share.

That is sweet information. While i didnt get in quite that early i have gotten a good chunk of dividends from Main. And this will help add to that.

I own 105 shares with this $.005 raise it adds $6.30 a year to my dividends.
