Ahh the best time. Summer is creeping up on us though some places it feels like it is already here other places never had a winter. But the best part is that end of the month after hearing all thse dividends hit the account I can literally hear chaching chaching as all those coins hit my account. now we get to tally them all up.
Coming into May i had a streak of 5 months of over $300.00 a month would that continue or would we have to start over?
We did it 6 months of over $300.00 When i started blogging this and a lot of other things seemed so far away but daily new things are being done.
In anticipation of my brokerage switch i shut off dividend reinvestment. I was hoping it would have happened by now but has not. Hopefully soon though. The mutual fund that has the dividend reinvest is with my insurance company.
If i were to go to my Durango Joes coffee shop at 2.97 a cup times 31 is 92.07. That leaves me with a nice $250.55 to put towards my bills. but alas we will collect what we did and reinvest and save it to drop into a stock once my transfer gets complete. We had a 62 percent increase over last year. This months $342.62 comes out to $11.05 a day I am earning this month. This brings my accumulated dividends for this year to $1760.86, this comes out daily to $13.93 a day average for the year. Which puts me on schedule for bringing in this year, $5038.42. My 12 month rolling prospective dividend cumulative is $6034.49 which comes out to $502 a month average.
How was your dividend haul? Did you do better than expected? Let me know in the comments below.
Congratulations on the streak Dividends and Hobbies! I love seeing these results and the strong year over year dividend growth rate. Keep on hustling and keep on pushing forward my friend.

Thanks. I couldn’t find this where it normally shows up. Glad I found it on my email. Looks like every month will be over 300. Looking forward to seeing what this months dividends look like.

I restarted last year, and the market was hitting new high each month. I only have $40K invested out of $120K I currently have right now. I’m planning on paying off my student loan of $45K, that way I’ll have $350 free up each month. It’s probably better than investing $45K in the stock market at this point.
This year income probably come out between $2k-$3k , I could make it $6K for forward income if I decided to put all the capital into the stock market. It might not the best option as I’m playing out the tarriff-trading war US vs china. It could be nothing and the market will march to the new high by the year end.
On the other hand, if I pay off the student loan with a credit card, combining with the bonus, I could get an international travel for free LOL 🙂 50/50 … I’m still lining things up with the credit card bonus stuff.

the good thing about the tariff wars is they will create some buying opportunities which was desperately needed. You will get to that forward income no need to rush into anything. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Way to go continuing the streak! Keep up the good work. May hasn’t been one of my larger months, but dividends from AAPL and T really help! What brokerage switch are you considering. I’m been away for a bit with work and planning a wedding so haven’t stayed as up-to-date.

Awesome month my friend. Beat me for sure. Funny how dividends progress over time pretty rapidly. Also jealous of that AAPL stock. You are pulling some nice dividends from it. That is one I wish to own in my portfolio eventually. Just really expensive to purchase.

Since it isnt a race I dint beat you. its a slow and steady climb and everyone wether they start today or 17 some years ago, (ME) its a progress. Aapl seems expensive i think it has room to grow. Thanks for the commenting and stopping by

Nice progress. You have a lot of good individual names listed above. We currently only have T as our only single name dividend payer at the moment, but I see you also benefited from its current respective output of 50 cents a share.
Thanks for the recap. – Mike

Nice work extending the streak! Once you hit 6 months it may be safe to raise the bar and start a new streak. Here comes $400/mo….
SJT is a stock that I can’t say I’ve seen before. How did you come to invest in SJT? What’s been your experience?

SJT is a oil trust for my area of course its struggling right now but i do expect it to pick up in the next year or 2. as of now there is enough oil and gas in the area to be profitable for 10-15 years probably wont hold it that long but will probably add to it over time when it picks up come out good. Thanks for stopping by.

Congrats on the impressive streak, Dividends and Hobbies! You’re doing amazing with your daily and accumulated totals this year. Keep it up. My dividend haul was a bit lower than yours as May is one of my lower months. But I still had solid growth since the last quarter. Thanks for sharing!
