Another dividend increase and while announced this year will take effect next year. Gotta love these dividend increases.
SAN DIEGO, Dec. 12, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Realty Income Corporation (Realty Income, NYSE:O), The Monthly Dividend Company®, today announced its Board of Directors has declared an increase in the company’s common stock monthly cash dividend to $0.2125 per share from $0.212 per share. The dividend is payable on January 12, 2018 to shareholders of record as of January 2, 2018. This is the 94th dividend increase since Realty Income’s listing on the NYSE in 1994. The ex-dividend date for January’s dividend is December 29, 2017. The new monthly dividend represents an annualized dividend amount of $2.55 per share as compared to the current annualized dividend amount of $2.544 per share.
As it states above this increase .0005 which is not much but over the long run adds up. this will add 0.0825 to next years dividend not much but every little bit helps.
