image Wont have to many more raises left this year but i have enjoyed tracking them through out the year. this being the first year i was tracking did not know if i would hit 100.00 but i did so now the goal is to up that every year. I do have one more for this year but unless i add too it it its real small will plan to add just not sure when.

REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Microsoft Corp. on Tuesday announced that its board of directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.42 per share, reflecting a 3 cent or 7.6 percent increase over the previous quarter’s dividend. The dividend is payable Dec. 14, 2017, to shareholders of record on Nov. 16, 2017. The ex-dividend date will be Nov. 15, 2017.

Gotta love dividend raises especially those that beat inflation and this sure does qualify as inflation beater.  I own 60.17 shares so that turns out to be $7.22 a year Since i added my mutual fund into my tracking sheet for forward dividends my forward dividends stand at $3625.46. It is fun watching that grow even as enter small amounts.

With this my total raises for the year stand at

MSFT $7.22

MGIC 5.03

BAC 40.58

  1. Wow! $132 is sweet! I love reading dividend increase. MSFT has done quite well under new leadership. The decision not to rebuild a new version and keep improving window 10 is great! That would free a lot of engineer hours to create patches and improve the eco system. I think there will be more dividend increase in the foreseeable future with MSFT.

    Cheers!
